As a topic that concerns the human condition, solitude must be approached from a multidisciplinary perspective. By joining the «debate» opened by the Rivista di Psicoanalisi, the A. attempts to delimit its scope by showing the intimate connection between solitude and psychoanalysis both from a historical and a theoretical/technical point of view. The essay is divided into short paragraphs dedicated to: the solitude of the analyst; the solitude of the patient; the distinction between inner and outer solitude. In this last respect, the A. believes that the distinction between external and internal reality has become blurred and compares solitude to an onion that the analyst can peel together with the patient within the analytic situation.

FEUILLETER L’OIGNON: SOLITUDE ET SOLITUDES EN PSYCHANALYSE. Un thème qui concerne la condition humaine, la solitude nécessite, pour être abordée, des contributions multidisciplinaires. Entrant dans le «débat» ouvert sur les pages de la Rivista di Psicoanalisi, l’Auteur tente de délimiter le terrain en montrant le lien intime qui unit la solitude à la psychanalyse, à la fois d’un point de vue historique et d’un point de vue théorique et technique. Le travail est divisé en courts paragraphes consacrés à: la solitude de l’analyste; la solitude du patient; la distinction entre solitude intérieure et solitude extérieure. À ce dernier égard, l’Auteur estime que la distinction entre réalité externe et réalité interne s’est estompée, et compare la solitude à un oignon qui, dans la situation analytique, peut être feuilleté avec le patient.

PELAR LA CEBOLLA: SOLEDAD Y SOLEDADES EN PSICOANÁLISIS. Como tema que pertenece a la condición humana, la soledad requiere, para ser abordado, contribuciones multidisciplinares. Entrando en el «Debate» abierto en las páginas de la Rivista di Psicoanalisi, la autora intenta delimitar el campo mostrando la conexión íntima que une la soledad con el psicoanálisis, sea del punto de vista histórico como del punto de vista teórico y técnico. El trabajo se divide en párrafos cortos dedicados a: la soledad del analista; la soledad del paciente; la distinción entre soledad interior y soledad exterior. En este último sentido, la autora cree que la distinción entre realidad externa y realidad interna se ha ido desvaneciendo y compara la soledad con una cebolla que en la ituación analítica puede explorarse junto con el paciente.

DAS HÄUTEN DER ZWIEBEL: EINSAMKEIT UND EINSAMKEITEN IN DER PSYCHOANALYSE. Als Thema, welches die menschliche Natur betrifft, erfordert die Einsamkeit multidisziplinäre Annäherungen. In ihrem Beitrag zur in der Rivista di Psicoanalisi eröffneten Debatte, versucht die Verfasserin das Feld einzugrenzen, indem sie die enge Verbindung zwischen Einsamkeit und Psychoanalyse sowohl hinsichtlich einer historischen als auch hinsichtlich einer theoretischen und technischen Perspektive aufzeigt. Die Arbeit ist in kurze Abschnitte unterteilt, die sich mit der Einsamkeit des Analytikers, der Einsamkeit des Patienten und der Unterscheidung zwischen innerer und äußerer Einsamkeit befassen. Bezüglich der letzteren, vertritt die Verfasserin die Ansicht, dass die Unterscheidung zwischen äußerer Wirklichkeit und innerer Wirklichkeit unscharf geworden ist, und vergleicht die Einsamkeit mit einer Zwiebel, die in der analytischen Situation gemeinsam mit dem Patienten gehäutet werden kann.
