Il processo referenziale in psicoterapia comporta il collegamento dell’esperienza emotiva al linguaggio nel contesto di una relazione. Il processo include le funzioni di Arousal dell’esperienza dolorosa, la Narrazione di un evento associato all’esperienza, e la Riflessione/Riorganizzazione per permettere un cambiamento negli schemi di emozioni disfunzionali. Le misure linguistiche computerizzate di queste funzioni sono state sviluppate e validate, illustrate in una seduta analitica e presentate in forma grafica.

THE EXPRESSION OF EMOTION THROUGH THE REFERENTIAL PROCESS: THEORY, RESEARCH AND CLINICAL APPLICATIONS. The Referential Process in psychotherapy involves connecting emotional experience to language in the context of a relationship. The process includes the functions of Arousal of painful experience, Narrative of an event associated with the experience, and Reflecting/ Reorganizing to enable change in distorted emotion schemas. Computerized linguistic measures of these functions have been developed and validated; these are illustrated in an analytic session and presented in graphic form.

L’EXPRESSION DE L’ÉMOTION À TRAVERS LE PROCESSUS RÉFÉRENTIEL: THÉORIE, RECHERCHE ET APPLICATIONS CLINIQUES. Le processus référentiel en psychothérapie consiste à relier l’expérience émotionnelle au langage dans le contexte d’une relation. Le processus comprend les fonctions de arousal de l’expérience douloureuse, la narration d’un événement associé à l’expérience et la réflexion / réorganisation pour permettre un changement des schémas émotionnels dysfonctionnels. Les mesures linguistiques informatisées de ces fonctions ont été développées et validées, illustrées dans une séance d’analyse et présentées sous forme graphique.

Der referentielle Prozess in der Psychotherapie enthält die Koppelung der emotionalen Erfahrung an die Sprache im Kontext einer Relation. Der Prozess beinhaltet die Funktionen des Arousal der schmerzhaften Erfahrung, die Erzählung eines mit der Erfahrung assoziierten Ereignisses und die Reflexion/Reorganisation, die eine Veränderung innerhalb der dysfunktionalen emotionalen Schemata erlauben. Die computergestützten linguistischen Messungen dieser Funktionen werden entwickelt und bewertet, in einer analytischen Sitzung veranschaulicht und in grafischer Form präsentiert.
